Much of our material is free of charge and ranges from information on smugglers & wreckers to the 1830s development of New Brighton by James Atherton.

We also have a collection of local history books DVDs, pamphlets, posters and photographs. These are for reference only and cannot be taken away. We can provide the visitor with a hot drink during their search.

Volunteers are always keen to undertake searches for visitors whether it be for a place of childhood memories or family connections to the area.
